The Structural Engineers’ Association – India (SEA-India) is a registered, non-profit professional organisation dedicated to advancing the science, practice, and profession of structural engineering in India. Established under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, SEA-India serves as a common platform for structural engineers, academicians, researchers, consultants, industry professionals, government engineers, and students committed to excellence in engineering and public safety.

The Association promotes technical competence, ethical professional practice, continuous learning, knowledge sharing, research, innovation, and collaboration among all stakeholders involved in the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of structures.

Through technical programmes, seminars, workshops, conferences, publications, standard operating procedures, and strategic collaborations, SEA-India strives to strengthen the structural engineering profession while contributing to a safer, more resilient, and sustainable built environment.
